Do you also take tons of pictures that just stay on your computer? This blog is one way for us to do something with all the pictures we take and to feed our creativity, but we also finally decided to have a few pictures printed out in big format. It’s so nice to see your own work printed out and framed, do give it a try. ; ) The biggest picture we printed out was 60×90 cm, and then you really have to make sure your picture is sharp enough and that your resolution is at least 300 dpi. Some print shops will want your color range to be CMYK, but for example Laboriver in the centre of Brussels, where we had these printed, ask for RGB.
These gorgeous cotton candy stairs we found in Sweden on our summer vacation. One of our goals when we visited Stockholm for a couple of days during summer was actually to find these stairs that we had seen on a picture once… So what can you do, we drove through the whole city of Stockholm with a mobile home (not the easiest task, I’ll tell you) to find them.
So it made our day when we finally did find them – look at that perfect pink, those perfect lines – perfect for pictures. ; ) I mean, who cares about shopping or all the other stuff you can do in a city when you have the chance of finding some pink stairs. Haha, luckily we both think the same.
Anyway, we got excited about having our pics printed out on paper now and are definitely gonna keep on doing it. It feels a shame to just have them hidden in the computer doesn’t it.
(For those wondering; we ARE gonna start posting more often – as soon as things slow down and we get more time for this.) : )
